I mentioned in previous post that I bought 2 TF's from the fair.
Here they are - I think I did pretty well with the cost of these guys.

Percy, with all his unused weapons, instructions and stat card - $40.

And Shockwave, no instructions but they did have the stat card.  And his gun hand is intact.  $55.
I need to get a battery to see if he still works.  If he does, the price was a steal.

Also went to Walmart - just to look!
I don't know if I should be offended, or not.

I saw the humongous new 'Ultimate Optimus Prime' toy with 3 modes. He's $65, don't know if I want to spend that much. He's got a robot mode, truck mode (with trailer) and the power-up mode with wings. Maybe 13 inches tall, not counting the wings. Pretty impressive.
It kind of looks like he has a chastity belt on, while in power-up mode. I should have taken a pic, but didn't think of it until just now. Well, you'll see it soon enuf.

[Oops - sorry, I forgot to do a LJ cut on previous entry.  I'll go back and do one now!]

OMG!! those are excellent prices for both those toys. (will be amazingly so if Shockwave still works, holy shit!)

LOL, Wal-Mart! i'm not offended; i'm too busy laughing. (i think this is the stance everyone should take. *sagenod*)

Sometimes you just get lucky with prices. The seller was a 'Star Wars' guy. Even if you are into selling toys, you just can't know prices on everything. I learned that with my pottery.

ah, yeah, Star Wars guys have their hands full just keeping up with their own stuff. i have fond memories of trying to keep up with Star Wars prices ten years ago, and that was before the current figure boom. i can't imagine what it's like now.

i really am all sorts of excited over your great find, though. cause that's just awesome. ^_^

Perceptor is one Autobot I like. This is a great toy of him! Does he transform into the microscope or into a vehicle? If he transforms into a microscope, does it have wheels? Everytime I see the episode "Child's Play" and he transforms and rolls along the floor, I about die. Hysterical.

SHOCKY IS GORGEOUS! I am becoming a Shockwave fan, and I would've wet my pants at the sight of this gun! I saw your newest post saying he does work. AWESOMENESS!!

Percy is such the nerd. He turns into an MRI scanner.
...just kidding. Microscope toy, but I'm not going to mess with him. I prefer my toys in mech-mode.

I am slowly learning to appreciate some facets of Shocky. But I still think he's creepy.
But, as a toy gun - HE ROCKS!!!

That is one hell of a gun, seriously. I love how the handle is so obviously his legs. You got a great deal. I would have him in some sort of protective case and on my wall. :-)

What I like about this Perceptor toy (and Percy is so fitting a name for him, holy crap) is that it's a sturdy piece. So many of the toys are so intricate and tiny, it's easy to break a piece off. This one almost looks like the Duplo version, if the others were Lego, you know what I mean? LOL
