Leaving LJ

Well, I guess it's time.
Everyone seems to be abandoning LJ (if they haven't already) like ticks from a dead deer.
This will be the last crosspost from DW to LJ that I do.
The account is a lifetime paid one, so I won't delete it, but I won't put anything else up.  May even delete some stuff.  When I get a chance.  If ever.
I already imported my pet site journal to DW.
Adieu LJ, you have nothing for me anymore.
It's been fun, but you have changed, and counseling has not helped our relationship.
Divorce is all that's left.

Wow, it's been some time since I posted.  Who has the time?
Haven't been on FB for at least three weeks.  I don't understand how people can follow so many social sites.
Life sucks.
I have been so busy.  Between tax season and my mother sucking the life out of me....
It's not unusual to come home at 8pm now.  Which makes it hard for me to do ANYTHING in the evening as I'm so pooped.   The house is still a sty.  The really sad part is - I really don't care.

Can't recall if I said anything before (and I'm too lazy to look) but I did something bad to my right shoulder on Dec 7th.  Was lifting a pail of water and swung it around and OWIE!   I couldn't even move my arm for days and had to take a left over pain pill.  It slowly got better, but it still isn't right.  I have to try physical therapy and if that doesn't help, the dr. will send me for an MRI.
Sucks getting old.  Don't do it, people.  Just don't do it.

Had to take Bluestreak to the vet the other day.  I thought he was constipated again.  Similar symptoms as before.  Turns out he just had stomach problems so the vet gave him a shot to calm his gut.  He was better the next day, acted like his old self.
When I was walking to the door with Blue in the carrier, Ratchet ran after, all alert and eyes really big.  It was like he was saying, 'Hey, where are you taking him?  He's an asshole, but he's my asshole!'  Made me laugh.  He was all lovey-dovey to Blue when we came home.

We celebrated Ma's 5th birthday in February.  Wow.  I can't imagine what the world's gonna be like when I get that old.  If I ever do, that is.
She is very out of it most of the time.  Sometimes she'll smile, or say 'yes' when asked a question.  But, the answers are always yes, so I don't know if she even knows what we are saying.
but, she is good when the priest comes to visit.  She smiles and says a few words and is a totally different person.  The brain is such a mystery.

That's pretty much the excitement of my life.  Geez, I am so boring.

[Crossposted from DW. So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen goodbye.]
