Writer's Block: BFFs

If you had to pick a character from your favorite TV show back in middle school to be your best friend today, who would you choose, and why? Have you outgrown some of the characters you loved when you were an early adolescent?

Marsha, Marsha, Marsha from 'The Brady Bunch'.  She was popular and I wasn't.  Being her friend would have increased my social standing.  (How sad that I had to check Wiki to see what was on TV way back then - I couldn't remember!)

I think pre-teen fascinations help shape who you eventually become.  I mean, look at music.  Older people, like myself,  tend to listen to the golden oldies of their youth and eschew the new music that kids listen to.  And I enjoy the old movies and retro TV.  Old, familiar things are like comfort food - they bring back good feelings from better times.

Better Times?
Better Times???? I don't THINK SO!!! Listening to old tunes and staring at reruns on the tube is like picking a scab ... especially from adolescence!!!
